Basically, all you need is a length of plaid cloth. Then you fold it in special way to make pleats. That means that you fold it first one way and then the other, something like an accordion. A kilt is like a skirt, made of cloth that has a pattern that is a plaid and it is pleated. If you are not certain what pattern a plaid is, you can look this word up on Google. Each Scottish clan had its own private one, which they all knew. They were called "tartans" and you can look these up, too. The fellow who starred in the movie, Braveheart, was playing a real character from history. The British called him "Wallace." But in the Scots dialect, his name was McCullough. So, if you type that name in plus the word tartan on Google, you'll find out what the authentic plaid looked like, worn by his actual clan. Then you can reenact the real deal!

Braveheart in kilt with sword
Free Scotland! FREEDOM!?
Has no one seen "Braveheart"?
Who do those English think they are?
Imposing on the Scottish with their tea and biscuits, and What is UP with their human rights?
I'm personally not Scottish but i hear it's awful down there, they make them wear kilts in winter and stuff.
Don't even get me started on northern Ireland, something must be done here people. France, do something!
Who's with me? Riot starts at the queen's gates, don't bring clothes.
In reference to Braveheart, they must have made a special sword of aluminum for Pipsqueak Mel Gibson to handle, it certainly wasn't made of Scottish Steel.
Speaking of Kilts what do they wear under them? There is a movement in Scotland looking to separate from from the UK, the only problem is that they need money to do this and everyone knows that trying to get money from a Scot is like pulling teeth. LOL.
