I would love to translate my Father and his grandkids my children names to highland (scots) gaelic?
My dad is no longer with us and I want a commemorative tattoo was thinking something with his and the kids names in it in scottish gaelic
the names are
Glenn Ross Urquhart
Emma Rose Marie
Kaidyn Glenn Ross
Cooper Jacob Russell
any help would be greatly appreiciated THANX
I'm a little bit confused as to what exactly you're asking for. Proper nouns don't translate into other languages-- they remain the same from one to another. Scottish Gaelic still uses the Latin alphabet so you don't need a transliteration either like you would if you wanted their names in Russian or Arabic. Your father and your children already have fine Scottish names anyway.
Kudos to you though for knowing exactly what you want. I see a large amount of questions asking for "gaelic" translations with no knowledge of what "gaelic" actually is or what type of "gaelic" they want.
I also checked for you if there are Scottish Gaelic alternatives to Glen, Emma, Kaidyn and Cooper and there doesn't seem to be any variation.
